Project SALUTE hit the road in February 2008 and has since travelled more than 100,000 miles to 25 states, Washington DC and San Juan Puerto Rico.

More than 3,800 veterans have come to Project SALUTE seeking education on the VA claims process and help with their benefits claim. 

Project SALUTE has provided free training to 1,242 volunteer attorneys.

Project SALUTE volunteer attorneys have provided free legal assistance to indigent veterans and their survivors and have recovered $ 1.5 million in retroactive back pay awards for their clients.
