Yesterday we got hit with a ton of snow which seemed to never stop coming. I didn’t even know we were expecting snow; it was quite the shock when I got out of class at 10 last night and had to dig my car out. It took me almost an hour to get home, so I knew I was going to have to wake up extra early this morning to make it back to school by 8:30 for my Veteran’s Clinic office hours. I set my alarm for 5:45…it was brutal. The drive down wasn’t nearly as bad as I feared it would be so I had time to go to the library for about a half hour before heading over to the clinic. When I got there, I managed to set off the alarm system. It definitely added some excitement to my morning!
I also had a meeting today for the Keenan appellate advocacy competition I’m participating in this semester. It was short and sweet, but was also a friendly reminder of just how much work I have ahead of me. I’ve had no choice but to spend much later nights in the library than I usually would at this point in the semester.
Tomorrow night is the Semester Kick Off bar night at Pulse Lounge hosted by the 2L class. Free food and drink specials!
