It’s always something…
I wouldn’t say that I’m an accident prone person, but I will say that I am a person who gets herself in situations where it makes people usually respond with “how? Wait what? I swear…only you Ashley…” I have a class canceled tomorrow which I am ecstatic about; however, I’ll be spending the free time in the doctor’s office. Let me share with you why….
About a month ago I woke up with pink swollen itchy eyes which turned out to be conjunctivitis (Pink eye). I had an allergic response to the eye drops prescribed to me so I developed a rash on my eyelid but the pink eyes cleared up. Unfortunately, then my allergies kicked in and between the itchy rash and the itchy eyes I practically ripped my eye out which caused me to cut my eyelid. In an attempt to reduce the swelling I decided to put a chamomile tea bag on my eye. Clearly, not thinking I made a boiling out cup of tea, took out the bag and dropped it on my lid; I was thinking about my aching eye, not the scalding out tea bag. Needless to say, I am now left with an itchy, red, swollen, burnt eyelid. I kept thinking it’d get better but it wasn’t so this morning I finally called a dermatologist and set up an appointment for the time I’d normally be in class tomorrow. Of course, now that I have an appointment set up it is finally starting to get better!
