Happy Easter everyone! Also, Chag Same'ach (Happy Passover)!
It is a Saturday night, I just got home from church, and I just had my big moment of freak out. Tomorrow, Easter Sunday, April 4, marks the one month point. Yes, I have one month left of classes and exams, at which point I will have completed my first year of law school! Exciting? Most definitely. Terrifying? Absolutely.
I think the biggest fear for me is that this whole end-of-the-year thing has just come out of nowhere. It’s like “wait a second, wasn’t orientation just last week?” I knew there was no hope of me getting homework accomplished tonight, so I started making a list of everything that needed to get done tomorrow, this week, and this month. Yeesh…let’s just say that it is going to be a long month. Fortunately, my summer externship doesn’t start until the beginning of June, so that will give me almost a whole month to relax and get my non-school life back together. May is going to be a good month.
Anyhow, back to April…my “to do” list is a mile long. Just making it through this week will probably take a fair amount of caffeine…although I should point out that I will officially be finished with ALTA (forever!) at 5pm on Sunday when I submit my final assignment. It will definitely be a relief to have one fewer class to worry about. Of course, after that, it’s just a matter of remembering everything I’ve learned this year and then completely acing my exams…
