Monday again. I am not a Monday person.
On the plus side, we don’t have a lot of Mondays left in the school year…after we get through today, there are five Mondays left. The end is near.
This weekend was a pretty good mix of productivity and fun. I had a contract due for ALTA on Sunday, so I put a few hours into that, did some reading for class today, caught up on some laundry, cleaned out my shower drain, did some grocery shopping…and then of course I went out with friends, watched some television and caught up on some much needed sleep. (I finally saw the Oscar best picture winner, The Hurt Locker. Really good, but I think it was a stretch to call it the best picture. Also, take some Dramamine before you watch it if you are prone to motion sickness…it’s got a lot of shaky camera scenes.)
Weekends are just too short. It feels like we no sooner get out of class on Friday and then it’s back to class on Monday. Fortunately, this week is cut short because of Good Friday, so we have a four day week. Oh the perks of attending a Catholic school…
This week seems like it will be a pretty normal week. My ALTA class will be doing the client interviewing that Ashley’s class did last week and that will be giving us the information necessary to complete our final ALTA assignment. Although there are about six weeks left of the school year, we have only a few (Two? And a half?) left of ALTA. Wow.
It really is starting to get into crunch time though; I think we are all realizing that the end of the semester is practically approaching. That despite what we told ourselves last semester, that we were going to outline as we went along so that studying for finals would go much more smoothly, we still have so much to do that we feel like we’ll never catch up. Oh well, I just have to keep reminding myself that it’s only six more weeks. I can do this.
