Yesterday, in ALTA we had a “client” come in and our class worked as a “law firm” and interviewed this client. It was a fun experience; afterwards, Professor Weissman went through the things we did well and things we need to work on. Now we are in the works of drafting two contracts for this client. This will be the first contract I draft; although not the most exciting thing I’ll do all year, I’m looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
Last night there was a karaoke bar night @ Jacoby’s downtown. The bar generously donated a percentage of the proceeds to the Voice for Justice Auction- which is fast approaching! A friend and I headed downtown (for the second time that day) to make it to the bar night. As always, we had a lot of fun! I don’t know how much money we raised for the auction last night but the night was a success and everyone was drinking, so I’m sure we walked away with something.
Thank God it’s Friday! I just need to get through two classes today, then hopefully I can catch up on some sleep!
