Birthday! 

Today was fantastic for me as I celebrated my * * birthday.  This was one of the best birthdays so far.  I took time out for myself, and then spent time with family & friends.  Early morning, I had quiet time then later that morning headed to the spa with my best friend.  After being pampered for a few hours, we followed-up by spending several hours shopping.  It was great.   

Later that evening I got together with family and friends to break bread at a nice and festive ambiance. It's always good to get some of my favorite people all in one room.  This day I committed to no work.  The most work that I did was drive my son to school (sort of had to doJ).  No school and no other work, just pampering Mylika.  Although I did try to do a little work my computer wouldn't let me.  It froze up on me as soon as I logged on that day.  I figured that was a sign that I should truly take a day off.  It was challenging to not do anything but enjoy my day.  For someone who has a thousand things going at once, it's a challenge to take a step back – but, glad I did.  

Sometimes you just have to enjoy the precious moments that life gives you.  I appreciate my ** years hear on earth.  I work hard daily, but there is also a time that I should enjoy the fruits of my labor.  My birthday was one of them.  Glad to be another year wiser, older & better.
