*Grumble*Monday*Grumble*
I am not a Monday girl. My day started off with a trip to the post office at 9am to ship my Torts Examples and Explanations book that I sold on Amazon. Torts? Been there, done that.
After that, I had to be at school for 10am for a group meeting for a project we are doing based on the book “A Civil Action.” That took a whole 25 minutes…and then I had to wait around until class at noon. I took the time to go through some of my readings for civil procedure. After civpro, we had a two and a half hour break. I was supposed to be very productive and work on my ALTA argument, but instead I ended up eating lunch and being social. Our last class of the day was core concepts; today, we learned about business organization and the things that might be important for us to ask about a company before purchasing it.
When we got out of class at 5:30, I think we were all pretty pleased to see that it was a bit lighter out than it has been. I hope this means spring is on its way…although the large snowflakes we watched fall outside the window don’t seem to agree.
My remaining homework for tomorrow is to revamp my outline for my ALTA brief and to draft a section of my argument. (Remember, I’m arguing that the testimony of an FBI agent’s therapist should be admissible in court to convict the agent for making threats against a judge.) Seems straightforward enough, like it shouldn’t take all night, right? It probably won’t take much time at all…once I actually work up the energy and motivation to sit down and complete it. Yet again, it seems that I’ve fallen under the weather and right now sleep sounds like the most exciting thing on my to-do list…
