I guess this is supposed to be final exam crunch time, so why do I feel so relaxed?
This semester I have three final exams. My final for Criminal Law is a two-part: we had a short, multiple-choice style exam in class last Thursday (the types of questions that we will encounter on the multi-state section of the Bar exam). We got the scores for those today, and I was pretty pleased with my results. Now, I just have a take-home essay exam for that class (released tomorrow, and due on Saturday), and that class will be complete.
In addition to my Criminal Law take-home, I also have exams on Wednesday and Thursday of next week for Federal Jurisdiction and Constitutional Law respectively. I daresay it is so easy for me to fall into the mindset of “I still have a whole week to prepare!” I think that is the biggest change between first and second year. During my first year, I had a great amount of fear to motivate me to study. Now, I’ve been there, done that, and I know I have it in me to do well on my exams…so now that I’m in the homestretch, I really need to stay focused and motivated…
Eight days and eight hours until summer break!!
