Wow. What an emotional week it was.
Last week was a pretty rough week, some good things, some bad, and quite a roller coaster of emotions. I had my moot court brief due on Friday, and my first draft of law review due on Sunday, so I had all of that hanging over my head throughout the week. My great grandmother passed away last week. I had two days off from classes. I got into a fender bender on my way to school. I found out that my evidence grade was higher than originally recorded because of my in-class participation. I went through a stage of panic when I became convinced I would not be able to find an internship for the summer, and was then really excited to be offered a position as a summer intern with Judge Murphy of the Federal District Court.
This week looks like it should shape up to be uneventful in comparison…and I’m okay with that. I have a criminal law paper due next Tuesday, and a criminal law midterm, I think next Thursday. It’s amazing: the week after next is “spring” break! (Let’s be real though, February does not equal spring. I think “mid-winter” is more appropriate.)
My big annoyance of the week right now is the fact that my computer charger isn’t working. I’ve ordered another one, and in the meantime I’m thankful for the fact that my sister decided to buy the exact same model of computer as me. If that’s the worst thing going on in my life though, I’d say life is pretty good.
