March 4th, 2010Already Thursday!
Today is a late babysitting sort of day. I’m usually done on Thursdays by 6:15pm, but it’s looking more like 9pm tonight. I just finished making a gourmet meal of chicken nuggets, rice and strawberries (as always, I am so thankful for their simple tastes), and now they are off playing by themselves as though I don’t exist. February 26th, 2010Today was museum day. I went to visit a manuscript museum and the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site.
The manuscript museum was rather a waste of time. It was apparently voted the best non-art museum in Buffalo by some magazine…but I was not impressed. About half of the museum was devoted to the establishment of the Boy Scouts, and the other half had some obscure documents about the Great Depression and ...

February 21st, 2010Well, that’s that. I just submitted my final brief for ALTA. The past two months of my life have been spent working on this assignment that culminates in a clicking of the “submit” button…so anticlimactic. February 18th, 2010One day to go…
I was able to get a little bit of my ALTA accomplished last night. I have stuff I want to include in my paper written on random pieces of paper, highlighted in cases and my stack o’ research was incredibly sloppy and nonsensical. I was able to get my thoughts incorporated into the appropriate parts of my paper…now those thoughts just need to actually be written.

February 17th, 2010Gah, I don’t like the dentist. I went in for a filling this morning and from start to finish, the whole experience was miserable. I think the numbing is finally starting to wear off…it only took about three hours…

February 14th, 2010What a busy weekend!
On Friday, after classes, a few of the 1Ls from the St. Thomas More Society went to the church next door to help lift Christmas trees into the choir loft (all sixteen of them!); it was quite the undertaking. That evening, I went to see “Valentine’s Day” (which I really enjoyed) with my mom and sister and went to bed early so that I would be well-rested for my Saturday.

Today is another weird day. I had contracts in the morning at 9am, and now I am waiting for my ALTA conference at 2pm. Just a bit of a break…
