The Harry Klein and Shirley Klein Legal Scholarship Fund was set up to honor Harry Klein and his wife, Shirley. Mr. Klein spent his complete legal career, forty-five years, in public service, particularly in support of non-profit and not-for-profit, corporations. The primary founders of the Fund are The 501 Alliance and The Human Services Association for Worker’s Compensation Fund, both which Mr. Klein helped to establish in 1972. This is the 18th consecutive year of awarding the scholarship.
The Scholarship is open to anyone presently enrolled in a law school in the State of Michigan.

HOGAN/SMOGER ACCESS TO JUSTICE CONTEST for $5000
This years topic is: “Is Democracy for Sale? Have Citizens United’s holdings run amok? Legal challenges left to Super Pacs? Can funding disclosure be required?"
The contest is open to all law students that are currently enrolled in a U.S. accredited law school.
Abbott and Fenner Scholarship 2013
This scholarship is for $1000; they usually award about 3-4 people. The competition is open for all college students and even some high school students.
