Orientation overview and schedule.
On Monday, August 18, a complimentary meal will be provided at each session. On Friday, August 22, the School will host an ice cream social from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Students may bring their own food and beverages for lunch and snacks throughout the week. The on-campus cafeteria will feature a variety of bevarages and "grab and go" fare during Lawyering Fundamentals.
On August 18, incoming students may park in the Student Parking Lot. Students will be notified as to when to transition to their permanent parking location, Christ Church parking lot. Students may secure a parking permit in the Student Service Center (SSC).
All UDM Law students are required to possess and conspicuously wear a UDM identification card while at UDM Law. The identification card also serves as an access card that allows entry into the classroom spaces and Southeast door on Jefferson Ave. Students who have yet to take their photo taken for the ID card must visit the SSC to do so during Orientation week.
Dress for Lawyering Fundamentals is business casual.
UDM Law photographs all first-year students for a First-year Directory. All incoming students must get their photograph taken on either August 20th between 2:00pm and 5:00pm or August 25th between 3:30pm and 6:00pm. Business attire is required for these photos.
All Day division students must register for one session of Orientation. Session 1 is limited to 60 students, session 2 is limited to 40 students. Selection is on a first-come, first-served basis.
All Evening division students are automatically assigned to session 2.

Review the assignment and instructions for the first day of Lawyering Fundamentals. All students are expected to be prepared for the first day.
