Law Firm Program: Law Practice Management (7290)

This course is designed to help students develop the skills and learn what they need to do to succeed in the economic and business aspects of the practice of law. The class will be both substantive and practical, but it will not be like any other course you have taken in law school. The Law Practice Management course was created for law school students who plan to enter private practice as a lawyer or firm manager. Some students may be planning to hang out a shingle; others will be joining small firms where every lawyer is involved in firm management to some degree; others may be uncertain about their career plans, but intend to learn about the private practice of law as an alternative to consider. The course is designed for high-class participation and discussion.
