This course examines the United States Supreme Court's death penalty jurisprudence since the late 1960s, with particular emphasis on the development of the Court's 8th Amendment 'death is different' jurisprudence.
This course focuses mainly on the federal statute (the Lanham Act) and the attendant case law on trademarks, unfair competition, trademark dilution, and trademarks on the Internet.
This course is designed to instruct the student on how to perceive trial issues and to develop litigation skills and an understanding of the trial process.
