Law Review Symposium - Detroit Athletic Club

The UDM Law Review will host its annual symposium entitled, “The Future of Intellectual Property.” The daylong event at the Detroit Athletic Club will feature nationally renowned experts on copyright, trademark, patent, and international intellectual property law.

  • NEW DOWNTOWN FACILITY FOR RENOWNED LEGAL AID CLINICS

    University of Detroit Mercy School of Law finalized the purchase of a historic Detroit firehouse on February 1st, 2012, which after being fully renovated, will serve as the new home for its renowned clinical program.  The School plans to open the new facility in December 2012 in conjunction with two significant milestones:  the 100th anniversary of the School’s founding, and the 47th anniversary of its first Urban Law Clinic.

    The 10th annual Voice for Justice Auction will be held on Saturday April 14th, 2012 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Detroit Golf Club.

  • Red Mass 2011

    The School of Law hosted its 99th consecutive Red Mass in September. Red Mass is an occasion for judges, lawyers, and officials of all faiths to pray together for guidance at the beginning of the new judicial term and join in the Renewal of the Lawyer’s Oath of Commitment.
