Guest and Transfer Students

UDM accepts applications to transfer for the fall and spring semesters and applications to attend as a guest student for all semesters. The non-refundable application fee for Transfer and Guest Student Applications is $50 (U.S.).

Transfer Applications
UDM accepts applications to transfer from applicants who have completed the first year of law school and are in good standing at an ABA-accredited law school. Transfer applicants may apply to the fall or spring terms, following the regular J. D. program application procedures. The application also must include an official law school transcript, a letter of good standing from the dean of the last law school attended, and an original or copy of the current LSDAS report.

Guest Student Applications
To apply as a guest student, applicants submit the application for admission to the J.D. program, using the Personal Statement to specify the reasons for requesting guest student status at UDM. The application also must include a letter of good standing from the dean of the home law school, approving the course(s) the guest student may take, and a copy of the LSDAS report.
