Well, I've never blogged before, but I suppose now is a good time to start given the upcoming events of this weekend.  Tomorrow begins the preliminary rounds of the Keenan Moot Court competition here at UDM, and I'll be the first to admit I'm very nervous!  My partner and I have been practicing for the oral argument for a couple weeks now after turning in our brief that basically took over all of our "free" time for a month.  I just hope all goes well!  If nothing else, I've learned invaluable skills and taken huge steps toward conquoring a fear of public speaking. That is owed to many of the awesome classmates that have coached our team along the way and encouraging professors.  That alone, is one of the great things about UDM that makes law school actually enjoyable - everyone really does want everyone to succeed.  On that note, good luck to all competitors....off to one last practice I go!
