Generally, daylight savings time comes and goes almost without being noticed.  This year - not so much. I can't believe it is already this time of year and I think I'm still recovering from that lost hour of sleep over the weekend.  That probably sounds a bit strange, but every minute of sleep seems to count these days.  A jam packed calendar is to blame...

There are numerous things going on at UDM in the upcoming weeks- the 1L moot court competition is this weekend, elections for all sorts of organizations are underway, some great events like the Voice for Justice are still to come, decisions on what classes to register for next year need to be made, and for me one last paper has a looming deadline.  Time will fly while we're having fun (the production of a paper is not included in that) and then we'll bury ourselves in textbooks, outlines, and supplements for the final stretch of the semester that brings exams [insert huge sigh here].

The bright side?  Law school doesn't have to be all work and no play.  In fact, as hard as it might seem to do, and no matter how busy you think you are, one of the most important things to remember is to push the books aside once in a while.  I'm guilty of forgetting that lately and it's time to get back on track.
