I have to be up in about 12 hours…to take my last exam of the year! (Yes, this means that it is about 6pm on Monday and I will be getting up at 6am tomorrow. I am paranoid about being late for my final exams, so I have been giving myself two hours for the usual thirty minute drive in the mornings…)
For the past couple days, I’ve been studying civil procedure. Maybe not as much as I would have liked on Friday and Saturday, but Sunday I definitely picked up my studying habits. Yesterday, I spent several
hours at my local public library. I was very thankful they still have Sunday hours; although the Law library has very generous hours during final exams, the city library is just so much more convenient.
Today I again headed to the public library for a couple hours to work through some of the civil procedure Computer-Aided Legal Instruction (“CALI”) lessons. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to spend as much time
there as I would have liked. I wasn’t allowed to use my computer in the quiet study area, and the rest of the library was swarming with people who clearly didn’t understand the whole “quiet” nature of the library. (Plus, one of the florescent light fixtures was making a weird humming noise off and on…it was driving me insane.)
So now I am back at home. I have to say, I am so very glad to be done with school tomorrow; I hate having to do homework when it is so absolutely beautiful outside. There’s nothing like being stuck inside
studying to cause a severe case of cabin fever. (There’s also the fact that I have an awful headache; I think because of the changing weather…)
For the rest of my evening, I’m thinking a quick dinner, a couple hours of really organizing my notes and materials for tomorrow…and then getting some sleep. Big day tomorrow!!
