Well, it is official; I will never again be a 1L!! Tuesday morning at 11 am I finished my last final.  Afterwards our whole class headed over to The Detroiter (a bar within walking distance from school) to celebrate! The St. Thomas Moore Society (STMS) co-sponsored the event and Mike Staude the incoming 2L secretary and President of the STMS was able to get us a ton of gifts to give away! We had a raffle pretty much every five minutes for two hours.  I think almost everyone walked away with something! I had to sneak away around 1 though because I had a meeting back at school scheduled for 1:30.  When I finally made it home that day I was so exhausted from two weeks of sleep deprivation and stress that I eventually crashed. 

Wednesday I woke up when my body was ready to wake up, no alarm clock for the first time since I can remember! I got up and I didn’t know what to do with myself! Luckily, it was Cinco de Mayo so I spent the day celebrating (and having the largest margarita that I have ever seen!) I’m just going to enjoy every moment that I have free before my internship and summer class start up!
