You know you live in metro Detroit when it is 45 degrees and sunny and it can be declared “a beautiful day.” I attempted to get ahead on homework this morning, but the allure of the beautiful weather was too strong and I ended up going on a four and a half mile bike ride instead. My lungs and knees aren’t too happy with me, but it was so nice to get outside in the sunshine.
This weekend has been pretty unproductive so far, at least academically. I finally assembled the last of my IKEA furniture (yes, the stuff I bought a month or so ago...), bought some shoes, made some phone calls, got my hair cut, finally went through piles upon piles of paperwork and sorted it into folders…and I’m just now sitting down to work on some core concepts homework. (We have a supply agreement that we are supposed to edit to best serve our client. It isn’t due until Friday, but I could really use to get ahead.)
This morning, we got an e-mail from our civpro professor cancelling class tomorrow; I’m excited because now I do not have to be on campus until 4pm tomorrow. (Mind you, I am expecting a 9am phone call and I have a doctor’s appointment at 10:15 tomorrow…but hey, at least I have some extra time in my day.) The bonus? One fewer reading assignment to work on today!
Anyhow, I guess it’s back to looking at this supply agreement…
