Hello again…
I hope everyone has had and enjoyable and relaxing holiday.
Our holiday break was wonderful, albeit short. I reserved myself plenty of time to relax and attempt to not think about school, time to have fun with friends…and before I realized it, it was three days before back-to-school and I realized that practically nothing had been crossed off my “winter break to-do list.” That last weekend of break was just a bit hectic for me…
Last week was our first week back. It was very nice to start off with a four day week, made even nicer with a couple class cancellations. Our classes are all the same as last semester with the exception of a different ALTA professor (for my section) and adding Core Concepts in place of Torts. My section has our first Core Concepts class tomorrow; based on what I was told about it (combined with what I’ve gotten from skimming through the textbooks), it seems as though it is designed to teach things lawyers should know that are not taught in a traditional legal education. (I saw sections on economics, accounting, counseling clients, etc.) I am excited to see what it is really all about.
This weekend was spent getting ahead in my Contracts reading, cleaning my room and spending time with friends who were still home for the holidays.
