Today I was able to attend another lunch with a lawyer.  I really want to stress that it is a great idea to attend one your first semester of law school. 

The most exciting news I have today is that my ALTA class is over for the semester! I turned my client letter in and I don’t have to think about ALTA again until January!  This Sunday our class is having a roller skating night to celebrate the end of ALTA.  It should be fun!

Yesterday I attended the last “how to succeed in law school” workshop of the semester.  It was so helpful.  They gave us a study calendar to go off of from now through our final exams.  I plan to follow it exactly.  The 2Ls say it was really useful and a great study plan to use.  I think it’s a good idea to follow in the footsteps of successful 2Ls. 

Although ALTA is done, there is still plenty of work left to tackle.  I probably won’t get much of it done tonight, I’m heading out the door to babysit for the evening…
