The struggle with night classes? I’m well into hour thirteen of being awake, and I am only halfway through my school day.

I was up at 6:30am to work on my Criminal Law “Writing Across the Curriculum” paper, left the house at 8am…and I haven’t been home yet! Between my paper, reading for class, and a mini moot court practice session to prepare for and attend, I had a busy day. I just got out of crimlaw at 7:30pm, and now I’m waiting for conlaw to start at 8pm . By the time I get home, I will have been up for sixteen hours…and I still have reading to do for federal jurisdiction by 1pm tomorrow.

It’s been a rough week…law school is really forcing me to earn my spring break! I really don’t have anything big or exciting planned for break, so I’m hoping it will be a chance for me to slow down a bit and catch up on my schoolwork. Let’s be real here: at this point, the only thing I want in the world is a good night of sleep…my federal jurisdiction reading might just wait until tomorrow morning.
