This year, nearly 30 faculty members and administrators will volunteer to serve as First-Year Advisors for Detroit Mercy Law's JD and Dual JD students. What does this mean to you? It means that your advisor will contact you to arrange a time to visit. Detroit Mercy Law's First-Year Advising Program does not focus solely on academic advising, but also on helping students succeed in their first year, become fully engaged with the law school, and enjoy their legal education.

Your advisor will e-mail you using your Detroit Mercy Law e-mail address; please check your e-mail frequently and please reply to your advisor.
