Preparing for Fall On-Campus Interviews

Learn what you need to do before the semester ends and over the summer to prepare for the on-campus interview application process, particularly the Early Interview Session.  A duplicate session will be held at 5 p.m. for evening students and those who cannot attend this session due to scheduling conflicts.  A similar session will be held in June for Dual JD candidates.  Refreshments will be provided.  Advance registration on Career Connect is appreciated.

French Scholar Program Information Session

Our courses in Introduction to French Law and European Community Law are taught by our resident scholar from the Universite d'Auvergne in Clermont Ferrand, France.  For 30 years UDM Law has had an exchange program in which we send a graduate to teach topics in U.S. Law and we receive a graduate from Clermont Ferrand.  One graduating UDM Law student is selected each year for this one-year opportunity.  Fluency in French is preferred but not required.  Learn more about the program and the application process from the current scholar from the Universite d'Auvergne, Prof. Nicolas Jupillat, the current UDM Law scholar in France, Laura Gibson '13, Assistant Dean Markeisha Miner, and members of the International Programs Committee.  Your RSVP on Career Connect is appreciated, but not required.

January 31, 2014 - Mock Class Visit

Experience UDM: A UDM Law class event.  Prospective students will have the opportunity to sit in on a mock U.S. Legal Hierarchy class taught by Patrick Meyer, Assistant Professor of Law and Director of the Law Library.  This class will explain the structure of the U.S. legal system and will detail important legal concepts and terminology that will lead to a better understanding of our system of lawmaking.  Laptops/Tablets are required for this class.
