After graduating from the University of Michigan in 1998, Professor Silver clerked for United States District Judge Paul Borman in Detroit and then was a litigator with Jenner & Block LLC and Bingham McCutchen LLP in Chicago and Boston. Before law school, Professor Silver was an international tax adviser with Arthur Andersen & Ernst & Young, in Boston, London, New York, and Washington, D.C. He holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and a BA (Political Science) from the University of Pennsylvania.
Professor Silver joined the UDM faculty as a visiting faculty member and now works for the Internal Revenue Service.
