Professionalism in Action with the State Bar of Michigan
This year's Professionalism in Action program, presented by UDM Law in partnership with the State Bar of Michigan, will be held Friday, January 9, 2015 beginning at 5 p.m. in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Small group discussion sessions will take place in classrooms on the law school's campus, with a reception immediately following in the Atrium. UDM Law is pleased to announce that Thomas Rombach, President of the State Bar of Michigan, will address the 1L class and offer remarks on behalf of the State Bar. The program facilitator is UDM Law Professor Larry Dubin. Professionalism in Action pairs prominent lawyers and judges with incoming law students in small groups to discuss the importance of civility and work through a series of ethical and professionalism hypotheticals. This important continuing orientation program provides an opportunity for interaction between first-year law students and veteran lawyers and judges.
Join us for Walk-in Wednesdays. The Admissions Office extends its office hours for students who are interested in learning more about the UDM Law advantage, the application process, and law school in general. No appointment is necessary.
