Careers in Immigration Law

The CSO hosted 18 programs during the Winter 2012 term to help students become career- and practice-ready.  For example, the CSO and the Immigration Law Students Association co-hosted Careers in Immigration Law.  Professor David Koelsch, Clinical Associate Professor and Director of the Immigration Law Clinic, moderated a panel of private practitioners including John English, former UDM Law Adjunct Professor and partner, English & Van Horne, P.C.; Asma Alghaiti ’08, solo practitioner; and, Anthony Mosko ’09, George Mann & Associates P.C.  The panelists, who have specialized in immigration law for as little as 3 years to more than 35 years, shared sage advice on how to find employment opportunities in this ever-evolving practice area.
