CONFERENCE HELPS ATTORNEYS HELP VETERANS

UDM Law's Project SALUTE hosted its first annual Veterans' Legal Assistance Conference on Thursday, October 25. This half-day conference provided information to volunteer attorneys assisting veterans through Project SALUTE as well as any attorney interested in learning more about issues facing our veterans. The University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, with its partners in international dual degree programs, the University of Windsor Faculty of Law (Windsor, Ontartio, Canada) and the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (Monterrey, Mexico), is hosting an international law conference. 

The conference will explore three distinct paths: social justice, professionalism & pedagogy, and commercial law, which are tailored to reflect the emphasis of the dual-degree programs and the institutions themselves.
