Karen J. Moss

Karen Moss teaches Criminal Law as well as the Law Firm Program Employment Discrimination Module.
Professor Moss earned her BBA, with distinction, from the University of Michigan in 1988. She received her J.D. in 1991, also from the University of Michigan. Following graduation from law school, Professor Moss worked in the Complex & Emergency Litigation practice group at Sidley & Austin in Chicago, Illinois. Her interests thereafter turned to management-sided employment discrimination litigation.
Since 1994, Professor Moss has defended employers in cases involving allegations of sexual harassment; and discrimination based on sex, race, age, national origin, disability, and religion. Most recently, she practiced law with Connelly Sheehan & Harris, a Chicago firm specializing in representing employers in all employee-related legal matters.
