Committee Information

The Board of Directors meets every other month and is primarily responsible for promoting a continuing relationship between the Alumni and the School.  The Board of Directors has three (3) Committees, which are primarily responsible for carrying out the strategic direction of the Board of Directors.  The Committees are as follows:

Executive Committee
The Executive Committee consists of officers of the Alumni Association.  Those positions are as follows:  (1) President; (2) Vice President(s); and (3) Secretary.  The Executive Committee meets every other month.  The Executive Committee is primarily responsible for carrying out the strategic direction of the Board of Directors.

Committee for Alumni Relations and Events
The Committee for Alumni Relations and Events is responsible for recruitment of new members, nominations and elections for the Board of Directors, Alumnus of the Year and Time and Talent Awards, attendance for Alumni sponsored events, such as, Red Mass, Public Fellowship Auction, lecture programs, etc., and student involvement and association with other bar related organizations.  This Committee meets every other month.

Fundraising and Alumni Development
The Committee for Fundraising and Development is primarily responsible for the Annual Fund, 651 Club, Capital Campaign and other scholarship programs.  The Committee is charged with the responsibility of increasing and publicizing membership benefits and developing partnerships with Alumni, law firms, corporations, other bar related associations and website management.  Finally, the Committee is responsible for Chairing the Alumni Reunion Weekend.  Likewise, the Committee meets every other month.
