Welcome Days for Fall 2009 1Ls

To help Fall 2009 first years make a successful and exciting transition to law school, UDM School of Law holds Welcome Days throughout the summer. These welcome day and evening events provide incoming law students, their family members and friends with several opportunities to get to know the law school in advance of the first days of Orientation and classes.

Welcome Days for Fall 2009 1Ls

To help Fall 2009 first years make a successful and exciting transition to law school, UDM School of Law holds Welcome Days throughout the summer. These welcome day and evening events provide incoming law students, their family members and friends with several opportunities to get to know the law school in advance of the first days of Orientation and classes. At a Welcome Day, you can:

  • Meet the new dean of the law school, Lloyd Semple
  • Attend a class with Professor Pamela Wilkins about legal analysis and writing
  • Learn all about UDM’s Kresge Law Library services
  • Take a tour of the law school and the Project SALUTE mobile law office
  • Visit the Bookstore
  • Research housing information for metropolitan Detroit
  • Navigate the final steps to securing a financial aid award
  • And much more.

Family members and friends attend a presentation just for them about legal education at UDM.

UDM’s Welcome Days are scheduled for:
Tuesday, July 21st 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Friday, July 24th 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Thursday, August 6th 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Monday, August 10th 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
